Grand-daughter, six weeks old. Mum and baby doing fine (dad too!)
We are not long back from sharing her first two weeks with them and are both truly besotted. Canada seems further away than ever!
Ruth and I remember each moment with great relish. We think particularly of how we could just watch and watch. Even asleep little Addie is never boring.
Now I keep thinking of how God looked on Jesus. “That’s my boy!”
See? Never bored, always besotted.
Somehow we lose track of the fact that Easter, and the death and
resurrection of Jesus is not about law, and religion. Easter is a
reinstatement. God looks at us like I look at Addie – in love, and truly
besotted.

Wow, what an amazing thing it is to be called God's CHILD. Now I have more insight into what affection He has for us to call us his sons and daughters.
No wonder He thinks about us all day long and sings over us, too...
we have some lovely songs we sing to our girl. She thinks we're goofy, though.
Addie misses you too! She told me, really she did.
Only 35 days until we meet again! Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
